How We Work
From the first drawing to your first steam, the plan stays clear and the price stays set.
1. Site visit and measurements
We come out, measure the space, check the panel and look at how the ground sits. You get a written scope covering the pad, the framing, the circuit, the venting and the finish, so nothing shows up as an extra later.
2. Prep, permits and rough-in
We build or level the base, frame and seal the enclosure, run the dedicated circuit, and set the intake and exhaust. We file with the city and book the inspections so the schedule holds.
3. Heater, finish and handover
We set and commission the heater, fit benches, glass, lighting and trim, then run the room up to temperature with you standing there and walk you through the care routine.

What Affects the Cost of Sauna Installation
Installation pricing follows the work in front of us. What moves it most:
- Site prep. Setting on an existing slab is quick. Pouring a pad or cutting into a slope adds days.
- Electrical. Running a dedicated circuit is often the biggest single line item, and an old panel with no spare slots pushes it higher.
- Room size. Bigger rooms need more framing, more insulation and a larger heater.
- Venting and drainage. Custom ductwork and a floor drain cost more than a simple pass-through.

What are the electrical requirements for a sauna heater?
Most electric heaters want their own dedicated circuit rather than a shared outlet, sized to the heater’s rating and the room volume. Small units may run on 120V, but anything heating a real room typically needs 240V. Older homes here often need a panel upgrade first. We check your panel on the first visit so there are no surprises.
How long does an installation take?
A kit on prepared ground is usually three to seven days on site. A custom room built from framing up runs four to eight weeks from final drawing to first steam. Outdoor cabins that need a poured pad take longer. You get a real schedule before we start.
Can I install a sauna without a permit?
Sometimes, but rarely for anything with a hard-wired heater or a new structure. Permit requirements depend on the heater, the footprint and whether you are altering the building. We check with the city as part of the quote and pull whatever is required, so the work stays on record and passes inspection.
Do you install saunas I bought elsewhere?
Yes, and it is a large share of what we do. Send us the model and the parts list and we will confirm it suits your space and your service before it ships. We take delivery, count every piece and build it to the manufacturer’s instructions.
