Who We Are

We make this simple. You get a clear plan, a set price, and one person to call. Indoor or outdoor, full custom or a kit, we would like to build it for you. We have worked on ranch homes, Eichlers, condos, and gyms all over this valley, so an odd space does not scare us. Call and tell us what you are thinking.

How Long We Have Been At This

We have been building saunas in the Santa Clara Valley for over a decade, and working with wood a good deal longer than that. Long enough to have seen what a dry valley summer does to a cheaply built room after five years.

The Story Behind the Company

It started with one cedar room built for a friend in Willow Glen who could not find anyone willing to do it properly. The neighbors asked who built it. That was the whole marketing plan for the first two years.

The Crew

The crew is finish carpenters and licensed electricians, working to Finnish practice and North American code. Because the crew is small, the same hands that cut your wood also hang the door and stack the stones. Most of us use heat and cold ourselves, after a ride up the east hills or a long week at a desk.

Brands We Work With

We are an approved installer for the major heater and kit manufacturers, and we service every brand we come across, including imported cabins and flat-pack units nobody else wants to touch. We are not tied to one supplier, so the recommendation you get is the one that suits your room.

Why We Love the Work

There is a moment at handover when someone steps into a finished room, throws the first ladle of water on the stones and goes quiet. That is the entire job, and it never gets old.
