How We Work
From the first drawing to your first steam, the plan stays clear and the price stays set.
1. Scoping and coordination
We review the drawings or survey the space, confirm occupancy and accessibility requirements, and coordinate with your architect and general contractor so the sauna is not the thing holding up the schedule.
2. Specification and permitting
Continuous-duty heaters, commercial ventilation rates, slip-rated decking, tempered glass and lockable controls, all specified and submitted. We pull permits and manage the inspections.
3. Build, commission and hand over
We build, commission and load-test the room, then hand over operating and maintenance documentation, staff training and a service schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do commercial saunas need different equipment?
Yes, and it is the most common thing we are called in to correct. Domestic heaters are built for a household duty cycle of an hour or two a day. A gym room running open to close will destroy one inside a year. Commercial units are rated for continuous operation, carry more stone and cost meaningfully more, and they are the difference between a room that works and a warranty argument.
Can you work to our opening date?
Usually, if we are brought in early enough. The long lead items are commercial heaters, glass and anything custom in timber. Tell us the date at the first meeting and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable and what has to be ordered when.
What about accessibility requirements?
Depending on occupancy and scope, expect requirements around bench height, clear floor space for turning, door width and hardware, and controls at a reachable height. We design to the applicable requirements and document it for the plan check rather than discovering it at inspection.
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes, and for commercial rooms we strongly recommend one. Scheduled visits cover heater and stone condition, timber care, seal and vent checks and scale removal, which matters here because our water is hard. Planned downtime is far cheaper than an unplanned closure.
